Celebrate Entrepreneurship!

National Entrepreneurship Week
February 21–February 28, 2009

Statehouse Vermont Entrepreneurship Week Display and Reception, Friday, February 27th, 7:30am, Statehouse Cafeteria, FREE - (to reserve a space for a display, contact Emily Kaminsky at emily@communitycapitalvt.org) - school groups, nonprofits, businesses, and other groups that support entrepreneurship development are welcome to bring a small display or literature about their program or projects and hob-knob with legislators in the cafeteria. Refreshments and pastries served free of charge. Project showcase: A unique partnership between Johnson State College (JSC) and Vermont Soy will be highlighted during this event. Vermont Soy is very pleased to be working with JSC Business Management Students to research the current soy yogurt market, and from this research, to develop a marketing plan for the launch of Vermont Soy's line of Cultured Yogurts. The combined experience and innovative business practices inherent to Vermont Soy, as well as JSC's motivated and cutting edge Business Students, makes for a successful fit.


Vermont Entrepreneurship Collaborative Luncheon, Friday, February 27th, 12:00 noon to 1:30pm, Capitol Plaza's Ethan Allen Room, Montpelier, $22 per person (advance registration and payment required; to register and for more information, click here ) - Join the Vermont Entrepreneurship Collaborative for lunch and a special program showcasing unique public/private partnerships that are promoting entrepreneurship and inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs in Vermont.
