  • Where you want your business to be in three years
  • Determine where your business is today
  • Identify the necessary transitions for your three year vision

Step 2: Business Life Cycle and Transitions

  • Determine the stage of growth your business is in today
  • Consider the stage you want your business to be in three years from now
  • Identify the challenges to transitioning from one stage to another

Step 3: Planning Tools and Competencies

  • Identify business planning elements that need to be developed or improved
  • Select the planning tools business plan, marketing plan, operations plan, strategic plan, exit plan
  • Rate your personal and business competencies
  • Step 4: Transition Tactics

  • Establish the specific transition tactics needed to reach your vision
  • Create your personalized transition plan

Vermont SBDC Cancellation Policy.   If cancellation is made more than 7 days before seminar, the fee will be refunded. If you need to cancel less than 7 days before the seminar, you may substitute, or you may transfer your entire registration fee to another SBDC sponsored seminar within 12 months.
