Vermont Students Recognized at Annual Entrepreneurship Day

The Vermont Small Business Development Center (VtSBDC) would like to congratulate and recognize the hard work of some very special Vermont high school students who were recognized at the state’s annual Vermont Youth Entrepreneurship Day.

Despite inclement weather, more than 125 students from around the state, along with teachers/advisors, business and government leaders, recently made their way to Montpelier to celebrate entrepreneurship in Vermont. The celebration was also a chance to announce winners of the annual high school/technical center visual media competition and to hear remarks from Governor Phil Scott about the importance of our youth being interested in Vermont’s economy and its entrepreneurial spirit.

Over 100 students participated in the visual media competition to create bumper stickers and short video/public service announcements about Vermont entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity.  VtSBDC congratulates all of the students who entered the competition. They truly deserve a round of applause.  The following students were recognized as the top entries and were awarded cash and other prizes at the celebration.
