Dave has a Bachelor’s degree from American University in International Studies. He has also completed the MBA prerequisite program at Norwich University.

Dave comes from a family of local entrepreneurs and is passionate about small business. His grandfather Benny owned a retail store in Barre for over fifty years and his father is a distributor with a nationally recognized franchise.

Dave serves on the board on the Vermont Granite Museum/Stone Arts School and is a member of the Economic Restructuring Committee for the Barre Partnership. Additionally, Dave lived and worked in Japan for four years and speaks Japanese. Dave and his wife Minori, live in Barre with their two children.
