Launching Your Site
Now that you have your site all done. All the pages checked for spelling, all the links are functional and all the images are visible. It is time to send your site to the host computer. This process is called File Transfer Protocol, of FTP. There are many applications available to transfer your pages to the server.
You can use specially designed FTP applications or use Internet Explorer to transfer files. There are many free FTP applications available on the internet. Some give you a free trial period and if you like the application you can purchase it. Others sell their product and you can either order it or download it directly from their site.
Methods vary from application to application so links to the download or software site is listed with the application name. Direction on using the software are usually downloaded with the application or are available from the site.
