Pat
Travers, Area Business Advisor
Pat
has been with the Vermont Small Business Development
Center for six years, and over that time, has assisted
clients in Washington, Lamoille, Franklin and Grand
Isle Counties. He has also provided technical assistance
services in the past to clients of the City of Burlington’s
Community and Economic Development Office and the New
York State Small Business Development Center.
Pat has a Bachelor’s Degree in
Civil Engineering from the University of Hartford and
spent over twenty years in the construction industry
as an engineer, cost estimator and project manager.
This included ownership of a construction services business
for several years. Pat currently owns an educational
services business that creates and presents workshops
on a variety of subjects in the construction and environmental
health areas. He also owns and operates a NOFA-Certified
organic vegetable farm with his family in Grand Isle.
Pat is a certified Instructor for both
the Fast Trac Entrepreneurial Series and the Nx Level"Tilling
the Soil" program.
