We know business.

Vermont Small Business Development Center (VtSBDC) is excited to kick off its BUILD YOUR BUSINESS INITIATIVE in Vermont’s southern region.  For a limited time, businesses in Bennington County will have access to specialized business advising services focused on growing existing businesses and assisting aspiring entrepreneurs to turn their business dreams into reality.

As part of the BUILD YOUR BUSINESS INITIATIVE, Vermont business owners and start-ups will have direct access to one-on-one business advising from experienced professionals who are closely acquainted with the business climate in Vermont.  Project Manager Steve Paddock will work closely with Area Business Advisor Brian DeClue and Director of e-Commerce Patrick Ripley to provide individualized business advice to area business owners, as well as present a series of group workshops centered on the region’s specific business needs.  VtSBDC also provides business assistance through 12 regional offices, statewide business programs, and other VtSBDC resources.

VtSBDC BUILD YOUR BUSINESS INITIATIVE advisors will work one-on-one with businesses and start-ups to plan for and execute growth strategies in 2016.  These efforts will include, but are not limited to:

•    Exploring funding options and acquiring capital for business growth
•    Developing  and planning growth strategies for a successful 2016 and beyond
•    Establishing and executing marketing strategies to grow market share
•    Assisting businesses in establishing and improving their online presence
•    Assistance hiring employees right the first time
•    Start-up business assistance - from concept and finding funds to business launch
•    Assistance with data analysis, social media management and e-commerce

Growth is one key to continued success. Businesses that access VtSBDC resources consistently flourish. We encourage businesses to take advantage of the expanded VtSBDC team and specialized advising before this program expires in September 2016.
