International Women’s Day with Center for Women & Enterprise – Vermont

We know rural women do business differently! That’s why, in honor of International Women’s Day, CWEVT is excited to facilitate a panel of women-in-business and the organizations that serve them, as they explore womenpreneurship in Vermont.

Our FABULOUS panel of women will speak to:

• supports and services available to womenpreneurs and where to find them,

• the unique successes, challenges, and barriers faced by womxn-owned businesses,

• intersectionality as it relates to womxnpreneurs in VT, and

• their own experiences as womenpreneurs in Vermont.

Time will also be held for people attending to pose questions to panelists.

Vermont Law and Graduate School Professor Nicole Killoran and a panel of law students will explain in this webinar what options businesses have when someone breaks a contract, and how to use contracts to try to prevent harm to your business if it happens. They will talk about contract basics, different ways to resolve contract disputes, and how to prevent disputes using examples from the manufacturing, health, and wellness, creative, construction, and service and consulting industries.
